Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer (Manual/Automation) to
join our quality assurance team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing test
plans to improve the usability and reliability of our products. The ideal candidate should have
strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, and hands-on
experience in both manual and automation testing.
You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure our
applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyse system specifications and requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective strategies and test plans
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results
- Report bugs and errors to development teams with detailed documentation
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar
- Identify, record, document, and track defects thoroughly
- Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
- Ensure compliance with QA standards throughout the software development lifecycle
- Suggest process improvements to enhance product quality
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role in software development
- Hands-on experience with manual testing and automation frameworks/tools
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr)
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Appium, Postman)
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs and testing tools like Postman
- Familiarity with Agile development processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
